| For decades the principles of fairtrade have included
respect for social and environmental limits, supporting fair and just
practices so that everyone can work sustainably within the earth's
means.  'Doughnut Economics' is a concept that has been gaining
traction all around the world and developing new ways to think about an
old challenge: how can we meet the needs of all within the limits of the
      planet?

On 15th November the Oxford Fairtrade Coalition is hosting
a conversation with Erinch Sahan (formerly with Oxfam and the World
Fairtrade Organisation, now with the Doughnut Economics Action
Lab).  We'll be discussing the similarities between this modern
economics in action and the practices the Fairtrade movement has
evolved.  There will be time for questions and answers and of
      course Fairtrade refreshments to follow.
